1.Synopsys Sentaurus TCAD
本實驗室使用此軟體進行元件模型建立。以半導體物理為基礎,針對不同邊界條件,如偏壓、濃度、溫度、元件尺寸進行模擬,並分析其特性,包含能帶圖、載子分布、電性曲線等,並進一步優化元件特性。 Synopsys sentaurus TCAD refers to the simulation of device development and optimization. Based on fundamental of semiconductor physics, different boundary conditions such as biasing voltage, carrier concentration, temperature and dimension of devices are set for simulation. Optimization of device parameters can be made after analyzing the band diagrams, carrier distribution and I-V curves. |
2.IC-CAP Device Characterizeation and Modeling Software
本實驗室使用此軟體進行元件之電路模型建立。透過軟體與量測系統進行連結,利用自動化量測進行元件建模資訊之蒐集,進而完成個別元件之電路模型建立。完成之元件模型可以應用於未來之電路系統設計,以利提升設計之準確性。 Keysight IC-CAP refers to the characterization and modeling of devices based on the measurement results. IC-CAP enables connection with the measurement facilities to collect device characteristics under different supply conditions automatically. The model can be applied for circuit designs, which improves the accuracy of simulated overall system performance. |
Circuit Systems
1.Advanced Design System (ADS)
本實驗室使用此軟體進行電路系統之設計及電路特性模擬。透過此軟體可以模擬電路零組件之直流電性、小訊號以及大訊號特性。此外,我們亦透過此軟體之電磁模擬功能進行電路布局可能產生之耦合效應進行評估,以實現符合預期規格之電路。 Keysight ADS refers to the simulation of circuitries. Simulation of characteristics including DC, small-signal and large-signal performance can be done with the software. In addition, we also evaluate the coupling effects by using the electromagnetic simulation to realize circuitries meeting our expected specification. |
2.Sonnet
本實驗室使用此軟體進行電路之電磁模擬分析(EM),基於Maxwell方程式和向量矩陣法來分析電路中產生的寄生(parasitic)、交叉耦合(cross-coupling)、以及外殼封裝諧振效應。 Sonnet refers to electronmagnetic (EM) simulation at 2D and 3D level based on Maxwell equations. Evaluation of parasitic, cross-coupling and further unexpected effects can be done with this software. |
3.Computer Simulation Technology (CST)
本實驗室使用此軟體進行電路之電磁分析(EM),透過建立完善的三維模型結合適用於電磁波頻譜的電場演算法(solvers),進行電路/電磁/熱傳導之諧同模擬(co-simulation),進而完成單一部件或系統整合之電路特性分析。 CST studio suite refers to electronmagnetic (EM) simulation at 3D level. With the supported functions, we can then evaluate the parasitic and coupling effects for RF components and system integration. |
4.AWR Microwave Office
本實驗室使用此軟體進行電路系統之設計,結合由製程廠、實驗室內部所建立之元件模型進行電路特性模擬。透過此軟體可以模擬電路零組件之直流電性、小訊號以及大訊號特性。此外,此軟體亦可應用於元件小訊號等效模型之萃取。 Cadence AWR microwave office refers to the simulation of circuitries by using models provided by foundries or in-house works. Simulation of characteristics including DC, small-signal and large-signal performance can be done with the software. In addition, extraction of small-signal model of devices can also be done with this software. |
